This time of year, you can often find great deals on home appliances. Big box stores are clearing out older models to make room for next year’s newest refrigerators, ovens and washing machines. The lifespan of contemporary models varies a little based on use, but if you have an appliance on the fritz that is nearing the end of an average lifespan, it may be a sounder investment to purchase a new one, rather than make a temporary fix.
